These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the ShelfCentered mobile application ("the App"). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Description of Service

ShelfCentered helps you track kitchen inventory, get AI-generated meal and recipe suggestions, plan meals, and build grocery lists, using photos and other input you provide.

2. Subscriptions and Billing

ShelfCentered offers optional Premium subscriptions on a monthly or annual basis, billed through your Apple App Store account.

Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the then-current price.
You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your Apple ID account settings, after purchase.
Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

3. AI-Generated Content

Recipes, meal suggestions, ingredient identification, and nutrition estimates (calories, protein, carbohydrates) are generated using artificial intelligence and are provided for general informational purposes only. They are estimates, not precise measurements or professional dietary advice. Always use your own judgment regarding food safety, allergies, and dietary needs, and consult a medical professional for specific nutrition or health guidance.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of photos and content you provide to the App. By using the App, you grant ShelfCentered a limited license to process that content solely to provide the App's features to you.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the App, including attempting to disrupt its operation, reverse-engineer it, or use it for any unlawful purpose.

6. Third-Party Services

The App may link to or integrate with third-party services (such as social media platforms for recipe import, or grocery delivery services). ShelfCentered is not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third-party services.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. ShelfCentered does not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated recipes, nutrition estimates, or inventory identification.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ShelfCentered is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
